A: No, it is an electric fan. The Zippi comes with a long cord, making it convenient to position the fan anywhere near an outlet.

A: Yes, the soft nylon blades are completely safe, even during operation.

Q: How do I clean my Vornado Zippi or Flippi?

A: To clean, simply unplug the fan and wipe with a soft cloth.

Q: I have air conditioning. How does moving air with a Vornado Zippi make you feel cooler and save money?

A: Direct airflow from your Zippi can increase your comfort level allowing you to lower your thermostat.

Q: Do I need to oil the motor in my Vornado Zippi or Flippi?

A: Your Vornado Zippi’s motor is permanently lubricated and will NEVER need oiling. Adding oil, especially the wrong kind of oil, can ruin the motor.

Q: Should I turn off the Flippi before putting it into the stored position?

A: It is recommended to turn off the fan before “flipping” the product down for storage.
